New mail configuration: eliminate certificate warnings easily.
Posted by Yuri A on 29 October 2014 05:15 PM

We are in the process of simplifying email account setup at Fused!

From now on, you can use the following settings:

Service Server Names
SMTP smtp.fused.com
POP3 pop3.fused.com
IMAP imap.fused.com

If you like you can simplify that even more by using mail.fused.com for everything, but that can make troubleshooting a little more difficult in the future.

Also note: we encourage you to use the new simplified server names, but your existing settings (like s#.fused.com) will continue to work. However, if you are using mail.[yourdomain.com] you will almost certainly get Certificate Mismatch warnings. This is expected; either reconfigure mail client with the simplified server names, or accept the certificate after verifying that it's fingerprint matches the following:

Certificate Fingerprint
POP3/IMAP/SMTP-legacy
MD5  6A:4F:83:FC:11:0E:3C:CA:2D:F9:6C:F9:AD:E4:B8:4E
SHA1  12:1B:85:52:43:32:86:17:E4:DB:88:85:E9:6E:3D:AE:CC:C9:70:B0
SMTP TLS
MD5  BF:34:3A:AE:A2:7C:1D:5F:2D:52:17:4C:6B:CF:BA:6F
SHA1  B1:05:AE:16:85:D5:4E:3C:9E:78:05:83:AC:9A:22:6C:CA:EA:5B:5B
